Dear Supporters,
Many of you have kindly reached out to ask how you can financially support the campaign. While most campaigns hope for donations to offset their daily costs, I have decided from day one that I will not be accepting any campaign donations.
"Your time", "your voice", and "your vote" are more than enough.
The best way that you can donate to my campaign is to donate to support a charity of your choice instead. If you aren't sure where to start, here are five fantastic organizations doing critical work that could truly use the funding right now (Click on a link below to go to their site):
- Safehope Home - The hope is that one day human trafficking will end globally. Until that day, we are committed to providing help for those wanting to escape their entrapment.
- St Andrews Food Bank - We strive to create a secure and inclusive environment where we forge meaningful connections with the individuals benefiting from our programs.
- Feed the Need Durham - The central emergency food distribution hub for the Durham Region, collecting, rescuing, procuring, and distributing over 2 million pounds of food and household essentials annually to 70 community food programs.
- Legion Poppy Fund - Through your generosity, the Legion helps all of Canada’s Veterans and their families.
- Community Living : - This group advocates with people who have an intellectual disability, their families and member organizations, to create inclusive communities across Ontario.
